May Monthly General Meeting

The Monthly General Meeting, due to be held on Monday 13th May, will be held "in person" at the Stanborough Centre (SC) 609 St Albans Road, Watford, WD25 9JL with a Zoom feed available for those who do not wish to attend large group meetings and with a safely spaced additional room for those who do wish to attend but not be closely seated.

As for the April meeting, Membership Renewals will be processed between 08:45 and 09:45 in the Maple Room at the St Albans Road end of the Stanborough Centre. Membership fees can be paid by cash, cheque or card. Please remember to bring your membership form with you, if you have it. THIS IS THE LAST OPPORTUNITY TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP!

The format of the meeting will be our normal monthly meeting.

Members setting up Study Group "stalls" in the Stanborough Centre will be given early access.

Then the general membership will be "scanned in" from 09:15.

There will be the normal “business” announcements from 10:00 a.m. to about 10:30 a.m. after which we will have the break for drinks and biscuits.

Then we will have the talk, starting at 11:00, from our speaker, Philip Caine, who will speak on "Barrow to Baghdad and Back Again".

Following that the meeting will close at approximately 12:00.

We recognise that Government legislation has changed regarding the wearing of face coverings, saying only "consider wearing a face mask if in crowded situations". However, we are immensely grateful to all members who can continue to wear one during their visit to the SC to help keep all our members safe.
