Pathfinders is a longer walk than the other walking groups covering about 6-7 miles. Each walk is led by a member of the group.
The special feature of Pathfinders (and hence its name) is that everyone is given a map of the area to find their own way round the route, helped by highlighting on the map. This isn't quite as challenging as it sounds since most in the group end up following whoever is looking confident!
We meet at 09:50 for a 10:00 start and are generally back at the start by 12:30. The walks aim to be within a 30 minute drive from Garston.
The group is joint with Woodside U3A and welcomes new members from both U3A’s. Contact the leader to get on the group’s mailing list.
Currently the group is having a winter break. Our next walk will be 3rd March 2026.
