We normally meet at a pre-arranged place in London and set out to explore, by undertaking walks, places and areas which are not on the usual tourist routes. Walks may be from 2 to 6 miles. The concept is to have variety in order to take in places of different historical relevance, places of beauty, buildings of different eras, etc. Where we require transport, this will normally be a form of public transport. It is not usual to hire coaches or to pay for professional guides. These outings are member led.
